Abstract’s first scheme. The Eastgate Medical Group in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, had been planning to extend their 1960s health centre. It soon became apparent that a new building would represent much better value for money and Abstract, working with architects P+HS, were able to deliver a new building on their existing site.
Abstract acquired their site and existing surgery, moved the practice out into temporary accommodation and provided a new light, bright and colourful building within 12 months.
The new facility houses all their clinical services on one level and provides a facility which allows them to deliver much needed services for their patient population in this remote east coast town.
